Been trying to get one of these off Ebay for the last couple of months. Finally got one for a decent price.

Thanks Chuck. I decided if I was going to get an older Mach that was the one I wanted. There's a couple more Boss 302's I'd like to get. If I can be patient I'll find them for a decent price. How's your collection of 1/43's coming along? I only have one and it's an Ertl from 1989, 1968 Shelby GT500(Red).

If you don't mind me asking, but how much did you pay for it? I got mine years ago from Dyersville, IA years ago for $50.00 Dyersville is the town where the Ertl factory is.

Nice buy Skip. I've been wanting the blue Ertl 70 Mach 1 for awhile, but not paying the $50-60 they bring on ebay.

Well, Skip, it's time to get serious again.
I did stumble across a Matchbox 1/43 series with two 65 GT verts (yellow & red),
two 67 GT fastbacks (blue & black), and two 70 Boss 302s (red & whtie).
I 'll try to get some pictures up this weekend.

Good luck with finding the Boss cars.

Look forward to the pictures, Chuck. I'm watching a '70 Blue Boss 302 & a Calypso Coral '70 Boss 429 right now. If I buy either one I'll post a picture.

I've seen those on Ebay. Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Grabber Blue not offered until '70?

They're not cheap but then you do get what you pay for.

I have NO PROBLEM with Ertl, I have a few myself. I'm just saying that for the price that Hwy. 61's product is hard to beat. Now, Ertl has gotten a lot better over the years. The 2 Boss Mustangs I have from them are from the early to mid '90's.
