Does anyone know where I can find a novelty telephone shaped like a Mustang?

Never seen one in person, though I have looked.

I seem to remember one with the 'phone pad' on the bottom of the car. I want to say it was a '65-'66 'vert, but I'm not 100% sure.

I found one by Telemania, but it's $85.

That's the one!

Didn't realize it was that expensive. Looks pretty good. (phonevault.com)

I got one of those phones. A red 65 vert that honks and the lights flash when it rings. I got it for about $30 about ten years ago. It still works. It's gonna look good when I take it out again after the bar is finished.

I have that one that I got probably 10 years ago. It's black. It's cute and all, but unusable as a regular phone because the windshield frame and "glass" will fall off/break no matter what you do to keep it there.

I haven't had any problem with the windshield falling off, course it's been put away for a while. Just waiting till the bar area is complete. Thanks for the heads up.

I called the Beanstalk Group, who manages all Mustang licensing, and they said there are no Mustang phones on the market. I wonder how much trouble it'd be to make my own?

Probably not much. You could probably order a pony emblem and then like tape it on a phone...
