I'll just save up for the AutoArt version. With the exception of the 1989 Batmobile, I've been unimpressed with the build quality of Hot Wheels 1/18 diecasts (especially their Ferraris, which Mattel has exclusive rights to).

I think Autoart does an incredible job. However, I dont think their stuff is worth the extra $35 they went up on price. I picked up 8 of their cars when they were $45 and would of picked up the Redfire GT if it was the same price.
I agree that the price hike was painful. A little O/T but did you read the article about AutoArt in the latest issue of Car and Driver? Interesting read about the factory cities and the young Chinese workers that live there.
