Does anyone make a diecast '07-'09 GT/CS in 1/18 scale?

Just like the topic asks, I'm wondering if anyone knows of anywhere to find a 1/18th scale diecast of the new California Specials. I've looked everywhere online I can think of, so I thought I'd ask here, since it's specific to the GT/CS and this would probably be the most likely place that someone would know whether it exists or not.

I would love to have one also! I bought one from AutoArt for my Mach when I had it.

Cool "None Found"

Well this Ol' Dog has really looked also and found nothing out there. We have a couple of Auto Art's S-197's which are very beautiful. The only thing I can think of, is by buying a 2007 1:18 scale Shelby-GT and then doing a modification to convert it to a GT/CS. But I have not worked on a model in 20 plus years, so do not know how hard it would be to accomplish. Plus then how could one do the GT/CS side stripes or the rear valance? Maybe theres just not a big enough market out there for them to make the 1:18 GT/CS Mustangs? What do any of our scale model experts here think on this possibility? Can it be done? CalStang

I emailed Auto Art last night and this morning I had a reply saying that they have no plans on making an '07-'09 GT/CS. Figures.

John, thats suprising news, as they had in a previous release, listed item numbers for a GT/CS coupe and convertible! Autoart is really really pissing me off!!! They better not cancel the Parnelli Jones Saleen!!

I don't know. You might want to email them to make sure. I got a response in less than 24 hours, so that wasn't bad. I was really hoping for a GT/CS identical to ours that I could buy. I guess I may as well give up.

I think I know which one you're referring to. If I remember right, not only is that one white (which doesn't match our car), but I think it was also pretty small. Like 1/64th scale or something. I'd really like a red coupe, and would REALLY prefer a 1/18th scale since that's what all my other ones are. I'd settle for a 1/24th scale in red though.

You were almost there...Greenlight Collectibles. They make primarily 1:64 to a detail seldom matched by anyone else. Here are the two GT/CS cars - notice how the fascia remains standard:

Stock vert 1:64

Custom coupe 1:64

And here's a '68 in 1:18 from them
