When Ford unveiled the 2005 Mustang GT to the public at the 2004 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, the car on display was a Titanium Silver Mustang GT with Quick Silver stripes. To usher in the new generation of Mustang, The Mustang Source is proud to exclusively offer this Auto Show Limited Edition 1:18 Scale Diecast 2005 Mustang GT. Made by AutoArt, the diecast car features extreme detail, especially in the engine bay and interior. Rear carpeting lines the floor boards and trunk. Only 3000 of these Titanium Silver Diecast Mustangs will be produced, and they are only available from The Mustang Source.
These cars will arrive in late May or early June. The vehicle pictured is a prototype.

I bet those Boss 302s were Wellys... a low end diecast brand. AutoArt is a high end model and the quality justifies the price. Besides, regular issue AutoArts run over $100 Canadian so this exclusive version is a steal.

That's because the models that cost about 20 bucks are poorly made and have very little detail when compared to companies like Autoart, Franklin Mint, and Danbury Mint. Autoart imo have great prices. They are larger then both Franklin and Danbury mint models, cheaper than both mints, and with almost the same quality of detail

The latest word from AutoArt, which came today, is that the first 1200 units will be here by the third week of June. I have purchased several of these for myself, so I'm just as anxious as the rest of you to get them in.
