1:18 S197 w/ bullitt wheels

Do they make a 1:18 S197 that has the polished aluminum bullitt wheels on it? If so, where would I find it?

Thanks,

Hey bud, the only one I can think of is the Shelby GT Coupe from Shelby Collectibles. Its the only one that has those wheels. Now, granted, the bumpers are different, as is the hood scoop, but the wheels are what you are looking for.

Thanks for the reply. I was hoping to find a regular GT with those wheels, but no big deal.

Now if I could just find it in a coupe I'd be set. Thanks for the link, I'll have to keep an eye on ebay.

You could always buy that ebay one & just switch the wheels to one on a coupe.

I've never really messed with diecast cars before, it is it pretty easy to switch the wheels then?

Wheels are usually easiest of any car. For a HW, just buy a Coupe and Covertible, remove all the screws that hold the chassis to the body, and you can just swap the rear axles and front spindles from the vert to the coupe.

I've gotten into modifying 1:18 scale models now and its FUN!! You get to create diecasts that aren't on the market, or in the color you want, with a little extra work, and a few $$.

Not handy. I have swapped wheels before and its rather easy for certain models (Maistos are a cinch). Wanna easy tip for a 2003-2004 Mustang Cobra? Go to your local Costco/Sam's Club. They sell Maisto models for $12. And in the selection, there is a Audi RS4 Vert. The wheels on the Audi are VERY CLOSE to 10th Anniversary SVT Cobra wheels. All you would need to do, is paint them a shade darker. They just slip on and off, with minimal effort. Put these on a Maisto SVT Cobra, and voila...INSTANT 10TH Anniversary Cobra!!!

I am working on my hardest project, a 1:18th scale replica of my own car!! I may be nuts, but I'm using an Autoart GT (the Tungsten Show Car) for the project. I have it TOTALLY disassembled and am going to strip the old paint off the car, primer it, and paint it a nice shade of medium blue and then lay on the stripes!! Also have to custom make the ducktail spoiler and chin spoiler as well. Its gonna be a fun project!!!
