1:18 '72 Mustang Sprint
A while ago (at least 3-4 years ago) I sas a 1:18 '72 Mustang Sprint in my local diecast store. I didn't buy it then and I never saw it again. Ever since then this diecast was on my wish list. I've been checking eBay regularly and nobody is selling them.
So, my question is, does anyone know where I could get one? Does anyone even make them or did I mistaken it for some other '72 Mustang?

I have one but it's not for sale. You didn't imagine it. The thing about collectible models is you cannot put off buying them too long or you will miss them and then they are much harder to get later.
Here is most of my collection. The picture is a few years old. I have many more than I did then. I need to take a new picture...

Back then I had no idea it was such a rare diecast. At that time I just started collecting and I didn't know much.
Who makes that Sprint? Do you know where I could get one? Where did you get yours?

ERTL is the manufacturer. They made 5000. I have #776. There's a good chance you can find it if you keep searching and asking sellers on Ebay and some who sell direct online.
The company I bought mine from ran out of stock long ago... They only sell what is current and new. You will have to keep checking eBay and ask some of the sellers online to help you find what you are looking for.

I find most of the diecast & model vendors are in the buildings but, there's plenty out in the fairgrounds.
One year a vendor selling auto parts had a diecast table and I got a Bullitt Mustang for $20. Another year Eleanor (original) for $20....same guy, everybody else wanted 30-35 bucks so you can find some deals. Model Empire always has a booth.
I'm bummed I can't go this year....
Good luck & bring money

The show is mostly car parts but about 25% of it is diecast vendors.
I see your point about driving all over.
Here's a site for some diecasts:

I went to a show once in Milwaukee at I think it was called Serb hall. They hold differant trade shows there and I think I went in Nov. cause it was cold.
