So i'm getting a GTAP hood scoop for my V6. I know I know its only a V6 but I love the look with the scoop. I'm toying around with either haveing the scoop painted Vista Blue to Match the car or doing something different and haveing it painted Matte Black. What do you guys think?

 

I voted other... Have you looked at the V6-Shaker-systems? IMO, they look really good!

Thanks for the reply. Thats the type of opnions I'm looking for. That shakers cool but I've got right around $1000 to get the scoop, CAI, and Tuner. With the CAI and tuner running close to $700 unless I come across a good deal that leaves me $300 to do the scoop.

 

i vote blue. if you want to go flat black, then i agree that you should just put the money into a shaker. looks better and serves a purpose.

 

I vote Other or Vista Blue.
If you go with a black hood, it looks like you bought a replacement hood and never bothered to paint it (many ricers do this). I know the old muscle cars had this option. I think even the new Chargers can be purchased with a black applique for the hood. It just looks wrong IMHO.

 

Tillmanspeed has a good deal on some CAI/Tuner packages... around $600.. so will save you $100.

 

Vista blue. The only way I would go Black is if i got stripes installed.
