I picked up my new Legend Lime tonight. It's a beauty. I'll post pictures when I find out why my camera won't download photos...

Here's something to think about. My dealer is absolutely the best I've ever worked with. I talked with the GM tonight as I was watching them detail my car. He said they have 60 Mustangs coming in......let me repeat that........

THEY HAVE 60 MUSTANGS COMING IN

Not all at once mind you, but within the next 2 months. (think I heard 40 this month) Right now they're the #1 dealership in Mustang sales in all of California. They just got in a bunch today.

What would it cost to fly out and drive one home? Something to think about.

It really amazes me all the dealerships I hear and read about that claim to be number one for something or the largest in nation, state or even a metro area for that matter.

The dealer I bought from has 60 on their lot. 90% are V-6's

Allen,

Congrats on getting the car! Lets see some pics soon.

I find the numbers you guys talk about pretty amazing. I am starting to feel very lucky that I am currently waiting for my car to escape the ramp. My dealer has one, count em, one V6 Mustang on the lot. He has had maybe 4 GTs since they came out, none on the lot long enough for me to even see. The only GT I ever see is the two that the folks at CJ Pony Parts bought to sit at their shop. 60? I need to get to the big city once in a while!

I see exactly the same situation as you Hellcat! B)

I have seen exactly ONE GT on the road so far here in Southeastern CT - a redfire that went by me in the opposite direction, when I was pulling into my dealer's lot. My dealership has had 3 or 4 GTs total so far - none right now. All the ones they had sold for MSRP plus markups up to $3,000. (I was real happy to negotiate MSRP on my order!)

I have been to 4 other Ford dealers within 25 miles or so - the closest dealer to me has yet to get a SINGLE GT in! But no dealer in this area had more than 1 GT on the lot for sale whenever I have checked.

I see more Vipers on the road than 2005 Mustangs at this point.

Yeah but they just say they are number one in … then start mumbling.

I want to know whose number one in claiming to be number one.
