Nope. They were just extremely slow to add the $ as well as not realizing how popular this model would be. If they knew then what they know now (can't find a GT on a lot let alone a selection of colors to choose from) then I think they would have started it at 26,995 instead of 25 and change.

I don't recall ever hearing about so many price increases in the course of a single model year before. Is it just me?

Well at least it was just a $100 jump and not a $1000 or $300 jump.

So, has anyone figured out what the base price for a GT is now? It was $24,995 at the beginning of the model year.![Dunno](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/dunno.gif)

As stated by another member, they are increasing the prices on "all" the models that are selling - all two of them. The Mustang is a great car , and you can't beat the F150 in a pickup but I think I will pass on buying any Ford stock.

Supply versus Demand = What will the market bear?
In this case, there seems to be more people buying these two than are available. Ford's no dummy, I knew it'd be just a matter of time before those dealer markups were put into the actual price. Take that dealers!!!
Wait... That still leaves us paying more... Sigh.
I quit.

Hey since I got mine on Nov 18 the base has increased $750. I look at as what ever my car dropped in value it has to be $750 higher than it would of been without the increases. Hey if they went up 10 grand my car would be more valuable.
