"As of 7/14/05 your order has been serialized" This means my order has been pulled, correct? Now in a couple of days I should get a VIN # and build week? Is that how it goes?

As a board member of the NRC (Nanner Regulatory Committee) I am unauthorized to award myself with the standard Nanner presentation. Can somebody help me out?

Congrats FireDragon!

You & I have the same order date & serialized on the same day. Today I got my build date - week of August 15th. I didn't expect to be that early in August, but it was welcome news. The wait is getting shorter

You're getting an 06? What is your priority?

Congrats 3rd Pony! Here's your nanner: :banana2:

Yeah, I was getting a little nervious that people were getting their orders pulled the last couple of weeks. Got mine and now I just have to get to shopping around for loan rates. With a build date in the middle of August, were probably looking at delivery around the middle of Sept. just as long as there are no holdups ::knock on wood:: In another couple of weeks or so I'll call the customer service # and hopefully get the projected delivery date.

I had a priority 12. When I ordered my dealer said he had an initial allotment of two 06 GTs. Mine was the second GT order. The first GT order was pulled the week before mine.

New to this forum but already love it, spend at least an hour a day on it!

I called VOPC/ERL twice and it says that as of July 1st the status is that the vehicle is to be built the week of August 8th!?

Is this a joke?

I ordered kind of late in the game (June 22nd), I only have a VOC, priority is 20 (I'm the first 06 Mustang on the dealer's list supposedly), Dealer is Northern CA.

It's the first time I try VOPC, so I'm guessing this is some kind of default message they give for all 06 models given that this is the official week for Job 1 production, right? I mean as far as I know I don't even have a VIN.

Anybody experienced a similar ERL message and feels it is too good to be true?

No joke man. Your car is getting built!!!! Congrats If your order wasn't pulled you would get the "clean and unscheduled" message.

You can call the Ford Customer Relationship Center @ (800-392-3673) with all the info you used for the ERL and if they're feeling nice they give you a projected delivery date. So get your stuff in order, you'll have a new car soon!

Don't forget to look at E-Loan when you are loan shopping. I think they are a pretty good option to consider.

How do you get the serializing info? Does the dealer call you? Or is there a way for you to check?

You check your order by calling the VOPC(vehicle order processing center), often referred to as the ERL(evil robot lady). Call them with your Dealer code, model year, body style, and order number (all can be found or your DORA or VOC) to find the status of your order.

VistaVertGT -

WOW - your order and serialize dates are only 12 days apart!

You barely got your foot in the door to the "06 Waiting Room" and you're already on the way out Gotta love that turn around time!

Congratulations on your 06 order and the short wait!

Nice to see everyone getting VINs and schedule dates!

Unfortuately, it isnt so nice to see most ordered after I did, but Im not real worried about it. Ive been lurking on this site since Nov 04 and understand Ford's allocation system (I dont like it, but I understand the process).

I'll get mine when I get it. Gives me more time to pay some bills off!

Grats again folks!
