Ok, I am confused. I have an xplan and have been doing some research for my 2005 Mustang GT Premium. My local ford dealer Meridian Ford does not have any so on the MyFordPlan.com site, I looked at some other dealers. I found exactly what I am wanting at Blue Lakes Ford in Twin Falls 83301. It is a premium Black Gt with 5 Speed Manual and IUP. It is exactly the same as another I found at Larry Miller Ford 83642. The only difference is the color (unless I am missing something).
The black GT is MSRP based 25705, the same as the Torch Red GT. The options on both are identical, but the black ones xplan price is $26,144 and the Torch Red is $24,984. I am not understanding the $1160 difference between the two. Unless there is something added to the black one at the dealer that is not listed on MyFordPlan.com.

Does any one know what this could be?

Jeff

I have your answer. If you look at the dealer window sticker (there's a link at the top of the vehicle details page), the black GT from Blue Lakes Ford actually has the Shaker 1000 option. It isn't listed on the detail page but it is on the window sticker. That accounts for the $1160 difference.

Look at the detailed listing of both cars, I'll bet you'll find different options listed. The complete list of options isn't shown by default, you got to dig down one more level.

Edit: I was not fast enough

I remember this being discussed in another thread one time. It came out to be the Shaker 1000 not being listed as an option.
Maybe someone else can shed some light for you. Grantsdale figured out the difference exactly to the dollar before.

There's no way you'd get X Plan at Blue Lakes Ford. Find their site, Middlekauff Auto Group in Twin Falls ID. Take a look and you will see there is a $5250 markup on the car.

Check and make sure they are both premium models,
in some instances the pricing can be different for the
deluxe and premium models even when they are equiped
the same.

They're exactly the same except for the Shaker 1000 on the black GT.

Thanks for the find, I didn't see that and knew it would be something like that.

Thanks everyone for the responses. What a great forum this is.

I went out to Middlekauff Auto site and that is just sad they are asking $5000+ over msrp. I guess they really like the car. Too many dealers in my area and it will just be a matter of time until the one I want comes in. If not, I will order early this summer when I know what the changes will be for 2006 model year.
