X-PLan PINs for Ford Stock Holders

Okay, I have heard that all you need to own is one share of Ford stock and you call Ford and get an X-Plan PIN. I have more than one share and nobody; I mean nobody; not my brokerage not Ford Share Holder Services knows what the hell I am talking about... Can anyone outline the process for me as a Ford Stock Holder to get my hands on an X-Plan PIN so I can order my car???

Please...

Thanks in advance...

Calistang,
I sent you a pm, I can email you the forms.
FYI, anyone can have access to X plan, not just suppliers. Just go buy a few shares of Ford stock, right now it's only 4.86 per share. Then contact investor relations at 800-555-5259 and let them know your interested in special pricing. A simple faxed form needs to be filled out and faxed back, along with proof of owning Ford stock and in a few days, you'll have your very own X plan PIN good for one year

Thanks Bruce! I shot you a reply...

I didn't think it was going to be this hard to get one... I will call the 800 number tomorrow; I am getting ready to pull the trigger on an '09 GT/CS...

Actually, when I got my stang, it was quite easy to get the pin, the woman I spoke to at Ford was more than helpful, I had my pin in a few hours. She actually thanked me for being a loyal Ford customer.

Here you go. I used a print out of my F shares from Scottrade.

Easiest way to get stock share?

That's very cool; thanks to metroplex for posting that fax.

Anyone have an opinion on the easiest (and cheapest) way of buying Ford stock??

You're very welcome! I also lined up Subaru's VIP discount (their version of the X-Plan) but I am trying to find out how I can get Nissan's C-Plan. Their 370Z is coming out soon, along with an all-wheel drive G37 Coupe and an all-wheel drive G37x.

Scottrade charges $7 per transaction. You can buy 40,000 shares or 100 shares and they'd only charge you $7 per transaction. You shouldn't just try to buy 1 share since you'll never recoup the loss but if you're trying to save a few thousand, I suppose it is a moot point.

Once approved, a Ford employee will essentially "sponsor" you and give you the info you need to set up an account at https://www.myplan.ford.com/myplanweb/login.do, along with the X-Plan PIN you need to purchase a new vehicle. Remember that you can use the X-Plan PIN for Mazda vehicles, but it will just be purchased under the S-Plan.

Factory ordered vehicles using the X-plan will result in your first initial and last name printed on the window sticker under the Options list. This isn't as nice as Chrysler, where factory orders include "This vehicle made especially for John Smith" on the window sticker, where John Smith is the name of the person whom ordered the vehicle.

Doesn't look like there are any changes to me... It is the same... I would attach but it's in MS .doc format and is too big...

Cool! Well, mail that form out and get your X-Plan PIN! Then you're on your way to getting a new pony.
