I know i'll probably get the "Worthless without pictures," but i dont care! This car is amazing. I, like some of you, was skeptical about the new styling, but my doubts were put to rest when i saw a windveil blue six banger today at Roberts Ford in Alton, IL. Very amazing styling. I had the chance to sit in it, and it felt really nice! Seats were comfortable. I sat in the back and it wasn't bad. I'm 6'0" and 185lbs and the only complaint is no head room. The dealer i talked to was very knowledeable. Two thumbs up from me. Good job Ford!

PS. Neither the dealer nor I could find the trunk realease on the inside of the car, is there one?

 

I believe the trunk release is on the keyless entry remote.

Right, but there isn't actually one inside the car? I find that odd.

 

I think we discussed this a while back. There isn't one inside the car, just on the remote. Anyone else correct me if I'm wrong.

Checked the glove box briefly. Then the dealer looked there and he couldn't find it. He asked a manager and the manager said "It should be in there somewhere..." So i still dont know.

 

Oh...and i knew it was coming ragshocky...lol

 

For anyone who cares, I just contacted Pundmann Ford in St. Charles, MO and they just got a black one in today! So, they are definitely arriving!

I think its only on the remote . I guess fords logic is- its a sports car, why do you need to pop the trunk for your bags? The 04 I fell nuts in love with was like that.

 

And I saw one at Berry Motors in Arlington TX. Redfire with grey interior manual V-8. I drove to the store and bought a camera drove back and he had sent it out to get silver stripes put on I will try to get pics tomorrow. It looked sweet it didn't look to big like some have said. I hope they do a good job with the stripes.

 

I can't wait to see one in person and test drive it. Less then 2 months until I get back. No 05 Mustangs in Iceland.

Ask the Bean Counter where it is? Because remotes do not usually work to release trunk lid if the motor is running.
