Wow I'm a moron!
I just got my car back yesteday after doing something like $9600 dollars worth of damage to it in an accident last month. The people running the auto body place where a bunch of jackasses and it took nearly 6 weeks to get it back. At least they did a pretty good job fixing it.
Anyways, driving into work today...there is one parking spot thats kinda tight with a hand rail in front of it...so I'm pulling in slowly and then feel a very slight bump from the front of the car..I thought I just bumped the hand railing with the bumper...so I get out and take a look..nope the nose of the bumper went under the railing!
I pull it out and now I have a nice 1/4 inch scratch with 2 smaller 1/8 of an inch scratch from the bumper going under the the railing!
Its "just" a car right?
Anyways, just more jusitification to get racing stripes put on next year..have them touch it up then

Dude.. I did the same thing last winter on my Volvo. My rear bumper ran "under" the side-nubbin-nozzle of a fire hydrant:
It's 10000% worse to run under something than to run into something.. ugh.. I feel ya.

It's okay, everyone's done stuff like that... I came home one day in my brand-new truck and noticed the front license plate was missing. Torn right off. I found it in a snowbank at home depot.
