Wow, got a surprise call today... The Call, that is!!!
Pass me some bananas y'all, cause Geek_In_A_Stang got the call!!! Seriously, it was built on Monday and it got here today. I was NOT expecting that. It was around three o'clock, so I couldn't pick it up today (crisis at work and the dealer wasn't "done" with it yet).
Anywho, I pick it up tomorrow morning at 10 AM. I know that I want to look it over carefully, but any advice on things to watch out for before I take it home (in case something needs to be fixed).
Oh, I am so excited! It's gonna be tough to sleep tonight!

I personally would check the exterior paint very well for blemishes that may have occured during shipping. Check to make sure all the options you ordered are present as 1 week seems awful fast for delivery. Then if all is well go enjoy man!

Thanks everyone! I'll be checking the options and paint for sure. I got the pdf of the window sticker a couple of weeks ago, and everything I ordered was on there. I'll double-check though.
I'll try and get some pics up AFTER I have a little fun of course.

Most issues would be covered by warranty even if you leave the lot. The main thing is to make sure the vehicle is equipped properly and matches the invoice. Also, scratches and scuffs can be issues attributed to wear and tear, so check closely for scratches inside and out including the wheels, and, punctures or scratches in in the leather, etc before it leaves the lot.

A couple of pics...
Ok, so here are a few pics that I took at the dealership yesterday. I'll post more after I give her some TLC. That's my Dad in the one pic by the way. He gave me my love for cars, so he's always goes with me for this kind of stuff! We had a great time!

Thanks all! She's at home in the stable now. No stickers, no front plate holes, and not even a rear plate dealer frame. They took good care of me. Now I'm lookin' forward to taking good care of her.
