Congrats.....but beware, mine has been in transit going on 3 weeks now.
Wow Tony..... 3 weeks in tansit sounds like a bit much to me. I hope nothing bad happened to these cars, with all the bad weather going on right now. Hope you get it soon.....

Thanks for the well wishes I need them!

Dealer has got a hold of the regional rep that handles such things, to track down where the car is OR isn't. She's going to be in town tommorow so hopefully I'll find out just what happened to the car.

I don't hold any hope in a pre-christmas delivery though....hopefully it just miraculously shows up sometime before the new year.

So do I need to find some sort of tracking number before I call Customer Care (anyone got the #?) or a courier for tracking information, or is the VIN all I need?

If your asking what you need to track your car during its convoy carrier phase of travel use the link below. That is if they are the ones that are shipping your car. They are a nationwide hauler and very large but are not the only convoy hauler out there. I was lucky enough to have seen those guys unload Mustangs at my dealer, I looked them up on the net and found their web site.
Just use the link, register withem, it is free, and then email them with your Vin, dealer where the car is being shipped to etc.....
When I used them they were very fast in there response and could tell you where your car is and exactly when it would be delivered. That way you know exactly when it be at your dealer. Ford uses an ETA which is just an estimate, my car was in a week before the ETA. Hope this works for you.

You should get that 70's song "convoy" and listen to it until your car comes in.
