Yeah my girlfriend keeps telling me it's not a Ferrari so shut up about it already!! I just tell her to go drive her BMW convertible and the beautiful German Engineering that came with it, off a cliff! Hehe, j/k about off a cliff though!!

The funny thing is, a lot of people I work with ask me about the car and it's status. Naturally, I don't have any trouble chatting about it. Most of my coworkers keep their cars for years, while I tend to change them every couple of years. I think they like the fact that I do. Gives us something to talk about other than work!
EVERYBODY at my plant asks me every day where my car is. One of the old timers here used to have a 68 Shelby GT350, he gets the first ride.

Let's see . . .I must have it pretty good.

My Fiancee told me I should purchase my Mustang. And then she went and bought me rims/tires for an engagement present.
If you dump her PM me and let me know

yep I have it good too since my wife wanted me to buy the Mustang as well.
Now she has the "bug" of showing it off too. She loves when I send her pictures and links of new things for the Mustang. I make sure I get her stamp of approveal before doing anything of course..

Let's see - the wife AND both kids are on board....

Dude, you;ve got it WIRED!!!

Well, my wife actually tolerates it to a point. But if I go say 20-30 minutes steady without talking about anything else, she starts to give me the look. You other married guys know the look.

Overall, she's great. She even calls the ERL for me because her pronounciation is better. (Or maybe the ERL just likes women better.)

Yea mine is starting to get tired of me talking about it. We went to Toronto this past weekend for the Red Sox games and during the day I was looking for mustangs. She just rolls her eyes now when I talk about it. And Dustin what do plant do you work for over there in NH?

I got "the look" the other day when I suggested selling the Altima so I can use extra cash on mods for the Mustang

I let the car speak for it self at this point. I talked about it for a year or so in between the concept and production. Now it stands on its own.

Whenever I’m with friends, family etc, someone always brings it up, never me. I just smile and ask if they want to see it sometime or now.

I guess I talk about mods sometimes with friends but not enough to annoying anyone.

My wife was fairly supportive during the 6 month wait and the almost daily progress reports. Numerous times she has come in while I'm on the computer, and asked what I'm reading, now she knows I'm probably on the forum. And she hasn't said too much about the mods I've made so far (she may be surprised when the Magnaflow catbacks arrive this week while I'm at work). And when I showed her the ad for the Procharger and mentioned if I get a good bonus this year she didn't exactly say no.

My woman refers to the forums as "your other girlfriend". The other night I was done eating and she said "your other girlfriend is calling you"

well, my HUSBAND only drove it once since I got it in January..... , and even then I was in the passenger seat. Ive been wanting a mustang for years and when I went to look at a 2004 the salesman said, "Girl, you should get the 2005!" So I did. ===no regrets!===

My fiancee keeps pretty interested in my Mustang and all the talk up to a point. Then she just tunes me out. Sometimes she gets frustrated when I'm outside washing it almost every week, instead of just taking it to a car wash. When it comes to the forums, she pretty much assumes that if I'm on the computer, then I'm probably on TMS.

All I can say here is that "Fiancee" is the operative word. Women will do amazing things to get "their catch". Once the isle is walked, the "yes'" turn to "nos" more often than not.

Go for it now!!
