Well, they did it... The blame is completely theirs. [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/banghead.gif[/img] I was perfectly willing to drive my 97 GT for a couple of more years. Then comes the mailer from my bank and they are having a special sale with extra low finance rates and dealer specials with their preferred dealers. And low and behold 2 of the local Ford dealers are listed. One with X-plan pricing and the other is 2% below factory invoice. But I’m cool… not a problem cause one only has autos and the other only has 1 manual GT and my wife doesn’t care for the Torch Red color. So being curious about the price I check out the ones site and he is getting a Vista Blue premium, Dark IUP and Polished Bullets. The Vista Blue will be $25,895! So I do the numbers thing and the wife has given her blessing… Hopefully by this time next week I will be driving an 06! [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/banana.gif[/img] Wish me luck.

I signed my loan almost a week before delivery to lock in my rate. The finance guy was shocked and said he hadn't seen a rate like that in months. [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen.gif[/img] Vista Blue rules. [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumb.gif[/img]

 

My bank has approved me for the loan. Even better… I will be in town next week! [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/banana.gif[/img] The last fly in the ointment is my 97 is not in that great shape so it could cause me to loose the deal if I can't get a decent trade in. My cash reserves are not very good due to the fact I wasn't looking to buy a car. But with a deal like this I could not pass it up!
