Wish I would have waited
I took my Mustang in today to get the Shaker 1000 changed to revision B and the salesman says "Let me show you something." He takes me back through the service area and there is the car I ordered in November. It just came in yesterday. He told me in February there was a 99% chance the car wouldn't get built. They won't have a problem selling it but I was all set to buy it on X-plan. I bought at MSRP from out of state in February. If I would have known it was going to get built, I would have waited and saved about $2500.

What a d*ckhead dealer. Why go out of his way to rub your face in the fact that you could have gotten what you wanted, saved money, etc.? A nicer person wouldn't even mention it...

I agree, there was no good derived from rubbing yor face it it. I would definately find a different salesperson for my next purchase!
... and if you would have waited, by the sounds of it, the dealer would have sold it out from under you for more money. Or Murphy's Law would have kicked in and the car would not have been built.
Enjoy your Stang! There are a lot of members of this forum that wish they WERE in your shoes as they got bucked to the 06 model - and are still waiting, losing sleep, waiting, loosing sleep ....

There is no use crying over spilled milk, I also must agree you made the best decision with the information you had! It also sounds like your dealer was screwy, i would feel better knowing my money didn't go to him!

I don't regret my decision at all. I do think the dealer honestly didn't believe it was going to get built. I'm loving my Stang and am glad I didn't have to wait until now to have it.

Just get in her and drive, that always puts a smile on my face.
