Took mine out last week. Just keep my fingers crossed that it doesn't snow while I am at work. Now if only the sand was off of all the roads.

There's still a chance of snow for Friday. I'd say winter would be unofficially over sometime in April for SE MI.

Took mine out last week to get the wheels and tires on and take pictures. All next week we have snow in the forecast. No spring here.

It's probably going to snow here tomorrow and Friday, so the car is staying in. I did have it out last week when it was nice here though, took it out for a good highway cruise.

Everything is looking good for today so far. Think I'm going to take it out and do another photo shoot in a bit.

We still have over a foot of snow on the ground. I'm forcing myself to be patient, let that melt, then get some good rainstorms to wash the salt off the roads. Maybe sometime in late April, early May.

took the '06 out last week during a warm spell, been driving the '03 for maybe 3 weeks now off and on. only in good weather. not too much worried about the cold. they seem to run well when its cooler. just waiting another month to dump major $$$ into the cars.

Cool Spring Rains

Waiting for the first Spring rains to arrive. This to wash down all of the left over crud, salt and millions of small rocks and gravel on the roadways. This is the prime time of the year for the new windshield rock chips and some sand blasting from gravel flying up off of big trucks etc. We rode the big motorcycles here for years. And found that if you wait for the Spring rains to clean it all off. Then everything you ride or drive stays nicer and newer so very much longer!! But waiting can be very hard!! CalStang

Snowing now in Northern IL expecting 6 to 8 inches. I want to wait for some good spring rains for routine driving but I may take it out before that for some early track events

Yep, it's snowing pretty good here in McHenry County, we could have nearly a foot if this storm tracks where they say it will, with the heaviest snow close to the Wisconsin border.

YEE HAAAHHH! NOT! I'm right up here abot 1/2 mile or less from the border and I just heard 11 to 15 border and North. I guess they'll postpone GLD opening weekend!?!? It was to be the 5th and 6th of April, race for free! Well sort of, you only pay the spectator fee but you don't pay the additional racing fee.

There is no snow on the roads, however the long-term forecast is showing colder weather up in these parts. Depends on how things pan out I may put my car on the road next weekend.

Sunny? We are getting 6-12" of snow right now. Guess I won't have it out for Easter. Maybe by 4th of July!
