NewPony05,
Congratulations on your new Windveil Blue GT. I have had mine since October 21st, and enjoy every minute of ownership. What a ride! I still get multiple compliments everyday of the Windveil Blue color, and how great this car looks. It's so hard to be humble when you have the best looking ride on the road.
Thought I would attach a pic of mine again here, even though Brad has posted it in the TimeLine section for all to see. ( Thanks Brad for including some pics of my cars in this great site ).
Enjoy your new Mustang, as all the others of us who have received theirs, are doing.
Jack

Hey Jax .. I spoke to my father who has been in the camera business for over 30 years .. You mentioned you had a Kodak camera, well, he says the kodak brand brings out too much blue in it's pictures .. I for one had to go see a Windveil blue in person today, and I have to admit your camera does give the color a slightly darker shade of blue ..

In person, the windveil blue is lighter .. I prefer the color your camera gives off personally .. I liked it in person, was just a little disappointed in how light it looked even though I saw it 10 months ago at the Toronto Auto show ( but don't quite remember the exact shade of blue) .

It looks nice nevertheless, just not as dark as your pics..

Rob,

I just took these a couple days ago. Same camera ( Kodak ), taken minutes apart. The first picture is approx the same shade blue as the one posted from a couple weeks ago. The following three photos look lighter or more silver, but looking at the blues in the sky for comparison, the colors being seen by the camera are accurate as to what I had a visual of. Like I say, the color does change, depending on how the Sun comes into it, and at which angle you take the snap shot.

Yes Jax, very pretty .. It was a cloudy day here in Toronto and we got some really dark clouds later in the day. Maybe that may have had an affect ..

With that said, I asked my dad what he thinks of Kodak cameras (without ever mentioning your car or the color blue) , thats all I asked him. His response was" its the worst brand camera to get," it "gives off way too much blue" - were his exact words.. And he is an expert as he owns a camera store in Toronto AND in Miami ..

I will try to see the car again on a sunny day.. For those of you in Toronto, its at the Ford dealership (parked outside) on 4700 Sheppard Avenue East (in Scarborough).

Again, beautiful pics Jax, I love em !

Rob,
Well, however blue the pictures come out, I'm going to keep both the car and the camera.

Windveil changes blue tones....

I've seen it everything from a bright blue down to a silver/blue
Such a great colour, and looks great and different in all shades of light.

Thank You Boomer for confirming what I see the color do on my car. It really does change. Honest. I was beginning to think that maybe it was just here in Illinois that I was seeing the colors differently, or maybe because I was looking at it through my blue eyes.

Yeah Jack, i do confirm.
I've seen it in daylight, night, in a tent, in the skydome etc etc etc
And it changes everytime I see it.

Its the same with camera's.
You may see the colour look different in everyshot, cause it DOES look that way

I can't get enough of WB.
Jack, I'm envious until I get mine!

Sonic blue does the same thing, just much more radically,

both colors are difficult to photograph, just the nature of the colors.

This was a post from smallpurpleants ( Michael ) from Austin, TX, yesterday of his W/B with 35% window tint. I think the color captures similiar blue shades as what I see in mine.

Jack, you're right, that's exactly how windveil blue actually looks (though like you and pete said, it changes).

Its like a "steel blue", but not a baby blue. That pic really shows how nice a colour it is.
