That was at the palisades mall wasnt it? i caught him on rt 59 and he revved his engine at me and spanked my GT lol. not like i didnt expect it but man was it cool to see. Sounded horrible though. I like the deep growl of an exhaust and that car did not have that.

Yep! Palisades mall. First time I've seen one in the wild. Never heard one though. I'm surprised it wasn't a deep growl, but even if it sounded horrible, I'll take it!

Mine will be closed up when I park, unless she is going to remain in my sight.
When I put the top down, that should let all the heat out fairly quickly!

Absolutley.
I do it all the time. To me it's kinda like locking the car when I'm at home. I don't see the point. If you set the active alarm you really don't need to have the windows up unless your worried about someone throwing something in your car.
Ironically, my wife and I went to the Home depot earlier this summer.
Windows down, AAT active. We were in the garden center and as we were leaving I heard an alarm sounding. Didn't think much of it until we reached the lot. There was a vette next to the pony with a guy standing there looking like he got caught with his hand in the cookie jar. That he did.
We walk out to the car and he says he loved my car and apologized for setting off the alarm. He wanted to lean in and get a good look at the dash and stuff. He made sure to tell me he didn't touch anything, just popped his head through the window.
I guess it depends on the area that you are in and if your comfortable with the folk that will be passing by your car.
If I had that Carrera I could sell it and buy 16 GT's.

I left a set of Raybans clipped to my Visor one time, and when I came out of the restaurant, they were gone. Never again.
I wish the storage compartment between the front seats was lockable, but at least the trunk can't be accessed from the cabin if I leave the top down. I'm actually glad Ford didn't put a trunk lever in the car. Perhaps they should have with the coupe, but I'm glad I don't have it in the convertible!

I guess it depends on where you live. I leave mine down a lot but in some areas I always roll them up. A friend of mine had a vert and a few years ago left the top down. When we came back there were a bunch of cigarettes on the seats. Holes burnt into the fabric all over the place.

Edit: I've left my windows down a few times, but only if I'm running in to grab something real quick.
