Window Question
Since I've never owned a car that has the window roll down and roll back up feature when the door is opened and closed, I was wondering how this will impact the window tint on a car that is newly tinted. I know you're supposed to wait a couple days before rolling the windows down in order to prevent damaging the tint. Is there a way to temporarily manually disable this feature?
my bussy had to do that with his BMW. he just parked it for a few days. You could leave the hood latch open...disconnect the battery. Get in the car, close the door (no window roll down). Have a buddy reconnect the battery..start the car...drive away.
Now, you could also....if your 5'7" like me, crawl through the trunk..and through the back seat...bypassing the doors all together.

I guess you could tape it up but that is only if the doors dont close well with the glass up, T-birds get out of sync sometimes(its easy to reset) and I wouldnt want to close the door with that up, it hits the rubber trim above the window opening.
I believe it said in the owners maunal that you can dissable the window auto feature, but not 100% positive

How much does it cost for a good window tinting job? I definately want to have mine done, but I've never done it before.

Approximately $150 for a good tint, depending upon the place and percentage of tint.

I am not tinting the windows this time around anyway. Im kinda bored with them, and dont think they do anything for the looks of the new car. I like being able to see the red interior and IUP through the glass
I think tinted windows would look cheapo on this car.
