Wimpy looking V6
What about the '05 V6 makes it look like a teenager before chest hair compared to the GT? Is it a diferent hood, or is it the licence plate area in the front fascia? Maybe the black side skirts? I dont know, but there is a definate testosterone difference.

A) The shots are different angles
B ) One is a vert one is a coupe
C) The V6 has the stupid looking dent things on them (I can't remember what they are called)
The ONLY difference between the V6 and the GT on the exterior of the car is fog lights, 1" larger rims, a small indent for plates (and for those that have to have plates on the front they are a plus), and GT badging. They are cosmetically identical beyond these differences.
No offense GT owners but I think those fog lights look painfully dorky and kinda like the big glasses a clown wears. The "GT" badging on the back doesn't look nearly as good as the running pony on the V6. IMHO the V6 looks cleaner then the GT with it's various un-necessary extras.
But hey... If for some reason you feel that the fog lights make your car look bigger, badder, and faster. Well that a compensation issue that you'll have to deal with on you rown.

Ya all better take a look at the new Shelby...it shares more with the V6 in terms of looks than the GT....from the grill to those so called black sideskirts..the rocker panels on the V6 look the same as the Shelby and oh yes doesn't that nice uncluttered grill look terrific...
and don't beat your chest too much about the HP difference...you GT owners are a lot closer in HP to the V6 than you are to the Shelby
sorry....at least they are the same color. This was the closest pair of real pictues I could find.

oh....whoops. sorry
i ordered a GT and yes i agree it looks meaner. but guys come on theres no need to completely bash the brother. some people get it because it is cheaper and alittle better on gas. or just personal preference. i dont think it makes anyone any less of a person because they got a v6.
Oh noooo. Not one of these again. You guys that want to fight about which car is best or better looking need to get a life. They are both a Mustang. There differnces are due to meet peoples prefferencesand financial situation. I would be happy to have either one. I have a GT so what. That does not make me better, cooler, or smarter than anyone else. I just dont get it. Lets not be rednecks. Lets be civilized here and mature.
It is just a car.
It is just a car.

Buy what you want and be happy with it.
Well,
As stated above there are only minor differences in the cosmetic and personally I like the mustang stripping on the V6, I like wheels better even though they are smaller, I like the fact the rockers are not painted and flat black which to me makes the car look more streamline and you don't have to worry about the paint chipping down there and the Fog Lights I really don't care for. Most of all I like $5000 to $6000 savings in the car. Its all personal taste though and to say one looks great and one dosen't is a little extreme. Personally I bought the Torch Red and I don't think any of the other colors look as good but its JMO.

All the mods must be in the shelby forum right now cause these threads are no no's.
Gt only guys.... Dont be lame, the v6 looks great. Its clean and still represents the true heritage of the pony car. It is a beautiful car and the owners should be extreamly happy.
V-6 only guys.....Don't be equally retarded. The additions reflect a little bit more performance look and do beef up the car a little bit, don't be in denile and start trashing certian aspects of the car just cause the v6 doesn't have it.
Conclusion.... both cars are sweet for the simple fact that they are mustangs.
So stop it people, for the love of all humanity, stop it.

A few problems here...

B ) One is a vert one is a coupe

There is one more difference, under the grill on the V6 the opening turns up and on the GT turns down. This is why the GT looks more aggressive than the V6 (V6 smiling GT frowning). That being said they are both good looking cars and to have GT or V6 show you have good taste.
