seein if anyone will be there from the area. maybe try and meet up after or before or sumtin. i was going to try and get a spot at the show but money and timing just werent right. unfortunately ill only be going sunday because of work but since they are sayin rain fri, sat and sunny sunday, itll all work out.

yea theyve had this every year. SICK car show. the entire track is taken up with muscle cars new and old and the rest of the area is parking and all vendors carrying shift ***** (one guy has atleast 500 different ***** for sale on the table) to conllete exhaust kits to truck loads of wheels. definetely something to check out and since its gonna be 71 on sunday, itll be a great day.

and kingofsting, what year is ur pony? just wondering since every mustang i see pass me i check it out. prob seen you one time or another.

 

torch red 05 - exterior is stock, except for the tinted windows. . . but i suspect that PJ sidestripes and a hood stripe are in my future. . .

 

V8 or 6? and the torch red, very nice color. ive seen quite a few red 6's in staten island. actually had one try to take me at a light once. dont know what he was thinking. at first i thought maybe hes got something up his sleeve but when i heard the rev, i knew it was booooooooone stock. my exterior is stock as well cept for the tints. im tryin to keep it stock and go for all performace.

oh its a sixxer . . heh im thinking maybe that might have been me who tried to "take you" LOL - a few weeks ago a black GT rolled up next to me on richmond ave by starbucks. . . he didnt seem like he wanted to race but just "break away" from the rest of the crowd and i was happy to oblige

 

nah my encounter was on hylan on my way to work (im talking about 4:30am!). im barely awake and this guy is reving like he wants to go. since i had my coffee in one hand, the other hand on the stick and im driving with my knee........i didnt go. we really need to set up a meet in staten island this season. maybe head over to father capadano at the park and ride or somewhere else........possibly near a bar.

id say chevys in new dorp but i think wed be chased outta there since the new as5hole manager of chevys chased the classic cars out of there a few years back.

 

last year i would go to south ave every wednesday but that spot has relocated .......

also george barris on the island this week ..tuesday and wednesday........driving the original batmobile

It happened already - he was here LAST tuesday and wednesday and yes he had the 60's Batmobile - nothing short of awesome

 

PS - you have any idea where the South Ave crew relocated, WERKED? A few buddies of mine told me about it wen I first got my Stang, but they had already gone AWOL
