Who's excited for Spring? What's your planned mods?

Well here in Maryland its finally starting to warm up. Driving with the windows down and listening to the engine roar. I'm getting pretty excited! Anyway, what's everyone mod list for this coming spring/summer? I have matte black gt500 stripes sitting in my room since Christmas that I will be putting on soon. Can't wait. Also thinking about getting some gears . Some of you are always in warm weather but for us in colder areas, this is a beautiful time of year.

Going to finally put on my red stripes on. (we talked about this a while ago in a thread I started). Going to paint my rear calipers. Paint my rims with this. Paint my gt logos ang all the rest of the chrome on my car with this stuff too. Going to lower it. And replace my rocker panel. That's my first week or two of spring for ya.

Awesome! You got some good plans there. As for that tire paint, is that similar to plasti dip? Is it permanent? What color are you painting your calipers?

No it's not like plasti dip at all. You spray it on chrome an it gives it a blackout chrome like look. So it shines but it's dark. The more layers you put on it the darker you go. And I was thinking about doing plasti dip but I got a bad can and I haven't tried it again. Yes It is permanent. But you can probably take it off with goo gone. And I'm painting my calipers red. I did the front today. It just took too long to tape off. I had to he it perfect. I got a can o caliper paint at advanced auto parts it was like 7 bucks. Looks good.

I don't really have to worry about seasons or bad weather in San Diego, but I just got an MGW shifter installed and I'm having 4 brand new Cooper RS3-S summer tires put on this Friday. Probably going to get a set of drilled rotors and ceramic pads soon after that as well.

Getting these on soon! I did shocks/springs/struts over the winter and they ride great with the summer tires back on.

I *just* got done with new Steeda springs and Koni yellows ... sometime soon I'd love to have a different set of rims or a widened rear pair of Brembo rims with some wide meats back there ...

I've got a ton of stuff to get done or recently did..

- installed Koni Sports (Yellow's) w/ Steeda Camber (from Strano Performance) plates just last week

- dropped her off at JPC to get the T56 Magnum kit installed w/ McLeod RST, McLeod lightened Flywheel, JPC SS clutch line, Alum DS, etc..

- while she's at JPC she's going to be getting a Dyno tune, welding the axle tubes, and finally welding in the Steeda Trq Box braces

- still need to get the alignment done.. didn't have time before JPC, have to wait till I get her back

- freshly powder coated Moroso coolant & Power Steering tanks waiting to install.

- thinking about getting the Lethal tank to replace the Whipple resv..

- need new rear tires.. probably 305/40R18 Nitto's, but I haven't actually bought them yet.. wallet is still smoking right now!

So much stuff, so little time & money!

You guys got a lot nice of lists of mods to do! I really wish Maryland didn't have emissions. I'd be making more car louder lol

mrp, I recently just got the RS3-A. Love them. Very quiet and handle great, even in the rain. I'm sure the S version is even better.

Last Friday I put on my new wheels/tires from AM. Getting the alignment done this Friday. Can't wait to start driving it more. I only had it out of the garage twice this year.
