Who still loves their S197?
Well who still loves their S197? And what are you next planned mods?
I do!
Here is the last pic of mine along with one the day I brought it home.. As far as next mod, I would love a department of boost supercharger kit, but it will have to wait until the wife gets a new car, and I don't have to drive mine every day.
How about ya'll?

I *just* got back from a 13 hour round trip road trip.
Just a great day.
The mods are shown below, with the only ones I'm gonna do next cosmetic for the interior (seat covers, maybe a few other items), adding some subs in the back, and redo the engine bay so she's what I want in there.
That's it. She's otherwise already modded to what I wanted her to be.
I couldn't be happier with Awesome.

Definitely my favorite! Will have this one for a long time. Love this car!
EDIT: Sorry for hijacking a 2005-2009 thread, but I do love my S197 too!

I have been extremely pleased with mine. We use it mostly for serious travel trips and minimal local driving. A true highway miles car. I really enjoy my 5 speed transmission too. That's me anyway. A 6 speed is just not my thing with one gear too many. Our next journey is to Nova Scotia this summer. Such a wonderful vacation car.
*Sorry, no mods other than the shaker.

I still love my car. You have to after spending that much time and effort to get it where it is. Like any relationship, it's what you put into it that determines what you get out of it. I am pretty much done with my build and am currently looking for a new car to build. No, I'm not getting rid of the Mustang. But I am looking at 2nd gen F-bodies to build a 9.90 index car.

I still love mine. It is still stock except for the tires of course. I'm not a modder but I love driving my Mustang. It makes me feel young again ( I'm 69). I was in high school when the 65 Mustang came out. We had fun times back then with the original muscle cars. My cousin had a 65 GTO convertible back then with three duces and the Hurst four speed. We spent many nights filling up on cheap gas and cruising around in that car. Those were the days. Here is a picture of my baby. She's not a daily driver and she is a keeper.........
