Let me go ahead and save you the trouble, it isn't a chop. From what I have been told by some Ford Engineers, this is very easy to reproduce.

I don't know what Region/Car Club AutoX this is, but I do know it is an F-Stock car with only R-compound tires as a modification.

That is a cool pic. I have one question though. I thought when you autocross a convertible, it has to have some sort of roll hoops or roll bar installed, just incase of a rollover? Can anyone help me answer this, thanks.

From the loads on the tires and the fact that it looks like steering correction almost fully dialed back out, looks like WOT timed perfectly right out of a tight apex. The outside suspension is still heavily loaded. WOT would transfer more to the rear, and at the right time (with those sticky tires) could lift the front enough for this delightful experience!

A lot of older VWs (Rabbits, Golfs, Scirrocos) used to do the same thing but in reverse, with the inside rear wheel off the pavement. VW would put in a ton of rear wheel swaybar (torque beam) stiffness so they wouldn't have too much FWD understeer.

Effective, even if resulting in the "dog at a hydrant" look while attacking tight turns!

Not in Solo II because speeds "are not normally great enough to induce a rollover." Now in Solo I you are required to have a rollbar at minimum. Autocross is Solo II and Time Trials are Solo I, Autocross is done in parking lots and TT's are done at road courses.
