Not sure if anyone’s noticed, but does it seem like the younger folks are going all nuts over this car?
I’ve had more ‘kids’ – maybe HS or college age asking questions about the car, honking, yelling compliments on the road & circling it in parking lots than older folks.
And I’ve had one car load of girls hanging out their car waving and yelling about my ‘sweet’ car so far…

I’m old enough to remember the 60’s muscle cars…not old enough back then to drive ‘em… but maybe these younger folks are so used to seeing cars that look like melted plastic that they are really taking to a car that finally has some American styling?

Ford has really hit the mark with this car… and maybe Ford has opened the door to getting rid of all these ricer crap-mobiles the younger generation seems to like.

Can I have a girlfriend and have a Ho Train at the same time?

I already named a girl head of the ho train, then my best friend alyssa is the dominatrix of the ho train, shes above the ho train, she does as she pleases with me or any other hos.

So Far I got like 3 official Ho Train girls.

And all I know is today I walked into school, and heard my name followed by "Mustang" or "new car" whiel walking down the hallway at least 6 times.

As soon as I pulled in random people I never speak too walked up to my car and admired it.

This car is an attention getter. Ford has done well.

You can only have a Ho Train if you post a photo. You know they will pose by your ride.

Choo, Choo!

My friend Alyssa came home from college over the break and took severall shotty rides. The first thing she told me was even she'd have sex with me in it (we're best friends) and that it was an automatic turn on as soon as she heard the engine.

My brother expects me to have a hoe train by Christmas.
Your friend Alyssa missed you, now she sees you with a hot car, and is happy for you, and maybe realizes she was missing something.

She still wants you, if you take that route, and I think you should.

Don't pass up intimacy with a FOS, it can be really, really great, just make sure you treat her at least as good as you did before, and don't stop talking.

Worst thing you can do is leave it hanging.

Hoe train, Jeez, why did my gen's hot car cost so much (Porsche, $35K in 80's dollars)

Back when I was in college I had a '92 vert, stock, nothing done to it and I got a lot of attention from the ladies. Whether it be striking up a conversation at a light or some other place it happened with great frequency. One time I came back to my car to find a note on the windshield with a name and # on it. One time driving back down the highway going home for break a girl saw me, started scribbling and then held up a fast food bag with her # on it as she passed me.

I've had 19 cars and nothing got the attention like the Stang.. nothing.

#20 on order:

'05 GT Deluxe, Mineral Grey, 5spd
only opts: side a/bags, shaker 500, IUP

For sale:

'35 Chevy streetrod.

To be honest, I used to spent more time with girls when I was driving 1992 Ford Escort than now when I have 1997 Dodge Intrepid and 2000 Ford Mustang.

Main reason is busy schedule (18-credit semester + internship + job).

For some reason I'm not interested in girls who only wants to be with me because of good car (by the way, back in highschool my Mustang was published in school newspaper as a best car in school).

I'm also sure it was the timing of when I had the '92 vert.. in college.. being in a college atmosphere is a lot different. For all those in college; enjoy it while it lasts.. the world is a whole lot different after college working in the mainstream.

I agree Red Star.. I'm not into a girl if she's only interested in me b/c of my car. I did get a lot of attention when driving the Mustang which was nice to get as it's always fun but a woman needs to have substance for me to be with her. It was a great ice breaker is all I'm sayin. Harmless flirting. I think this may be starting to go off topic.

I think one really important question hasn't been asked. I forgot to check this in my 2, 2005 GT test drives. Do the front seats fold all the way back into a almost horizontal position like they do in my 2000? 'Cause I gotta tell you the back seat stinks.

I agree with the gals on this one. This thing has held me up at gas stations, grocery stores, etc all because GUYS are stopping me to admire it, and talk to me. I got hit on in my 99, but this is outrageous! LOL

As for picking up chicks in it. I could see it happening. I have been known to stare at a hot car, and if the guy is cute and smiles at me, I will chat him up. Yeh, I am married, yeh I wear my wedding ring. Aint nothing wrong with making a guys day by admiring him and his car. He isnt going to get any further than a nice conversation, but, whats the harm in that?

In highschool, I would hear a car coming, and wait for it to pass. I would check it out good and hard. Then I would check out the driver. If he didnt look like someone I wanted to know, he would get a sweet smile, and I would move on. If he looked like a nice enough guy, you bet your booty I would wink, mouth "Can I have a ride?" Did I end up with any of those guys? Yup. One of them ended up with my daddys Mach. I had to dump him when he ruined it though...

I met my husband online, my first husband had a truck... and forgive me but it was a lowered mini truck and I was one of his club girls, LMAO!! Hey, it was the 80s! Current hubby, well, he bought me my first GT as a Valentines day gift, and this was BDay. He loves the look on my face when I drive it. Makes his evenings really special, !

While I agree that there needs to be some thought behind who your with and all that, there is nothing wrong with a little mutual appreciation of a fine ride... HEH

Lighten up, all you critics! Nothing wrong with a good icebreaker, nothing wrong with some girls looking for a bad boy, and bad boys DO drive Mustangs.

My wife has definitely picked up on my enthusiasm for life since I got this car.
YOU SAID IT MY MAN!

Its definitely a good icebreaker. Who knows, for those of us single fellas out there, we might even meet our wives or gf's courtesy of the 05. Not all women are that shallow, and if they are.....then at least it was worth the ride. haha. [/b][/quote]
Dude, that was not (iagreetotally) even funny. :nono:

Seriously though, i think it's okay to break the ice with the car as long as you keep her with the personality. I need help talking to girls (I'm very shy in person) and this could be one way of possibly raising my confidence level so that I'm actually capable of saying something.
