Who has the longest wait so far?

Just found out today mine will be here in one month. My salesmen called and said they received the D.O.R.A. today, I use to know what that meant but it sounds good. Ordered on Jan 17 at 4:30 EST and was told several months later that the car would be an 06 and not delivered until September at earliest. Somehow the car is back to 05 production! Made my day.

I know some feel the pain worse than I do...just wondering who is feeling it worse than I. I ordered my 05 GT vert on January 7th. Still clean & unscheduled as of 6-15.

Not necessarily. Depends on his allocation. I have heard of some dealers that have only gotten 2 GTs all year.

After getting screwed by Ford on the last day of Februay (they dropped out of the Pony Drive), I ordered on March 1. The dealer felt sorry for me and offered X-plan, even though I didn't qualify for it. My car was built May 30, and was scheduled for delivery yesterday. I still don't have it, but they did tell me that it could be a couple of days either way. I am so antsy, I can't stand it, and I really feel for you guys that are having to wait so long. My dealer is a small one in a rather small town, but so far things are going well. Good luck to all of ya! :bang:

16 + years.
Back in '87/'88 there was some talk going around about a retro Mustang for the 25th anniv. Ever since I heard that talk I've been waiting for Ford to produce it.
To answer your question.
139 days, 4 hours, 25 minutes.

7 months, 5 days and counting (ordered for the first time Nov 13th) :bang:
Dealer is saying it will probably be here on Monday, VOPC doesn't agree with them and says it will be built on Wednesday. I still haven't figured out who to believe, but either way it is finally getting close.

I ordered Feb 12th. Still C/U. I've got lots of questions but it isn't easy to talk to the dealer that told me," If they didn't have the allocation they wouldn't have taken my order!"

I visited my dealer on June 13, 2005 and asked them since we were getting to the end of them model year, should I now order an 06. My status from ERL was "clean and unscheduled". I originally ordered mineral grey. They told me the '05 orders would automatically crossover to '06. I then told them that Ford was not offering Mineral Grey for 06 and asked them how would it cross over if they no longer offered Mineral Grey. My dealer called me June 14, 2005 and said my GT would be an '05 and would be manufactured in 6 weeks (at the very end of the model year) . I contacted ERL today and was informed that there is "no status information available". I don't know what to make of this. Has anyone here experienced this? I would appreciate any help.

If it's taking excessively long to fill your order there could be something wrong. Stay on top of the dealership.
Good luck!
