I love driving my car, but don't take it out on Ohio's corrosive roads this time of year as I intend to be able to turn the car over to my son in about 20 yrs. Everyone's different. I've got a Jeep for a DD. Delivery April 2005, appx 8,000 miles.

When I purchased my 05 in April 2008 it had 1200 miles on it, new in Aug 05, that works out to 36 miles a month the previous owner drove it. It still had the little rubber nibs on the flats of the back tires...
I have since put 5000 more miles in the last two summers, but it is away in storage until next spring. Oh, and I promise you there are no more rubber nibs on any of the tires...

Mid Oct 2007 build 2008 GT with 22,500 miles.
She was my DD when I first bought her, and we took acouple long trips to Ohio & South Carolina.. so she got a decent amount of miles on her early.. by Feb 2009 she had 18,500'ish, so that's just over 1,150 miles per month..
Considering I only have a 14 mile (round trip) commute, that's alot!
Since then I bought a 92 F150 as my DD and she only accumulated another 4,000 miles on her, so that's alittle over 360 miles per month..

Mine was new in May of '07 and is just shy of 6K. I actually had my biggest mileage year in '09 (2.3K) after getting it blown as I could not resist driving it to work whenever the weather was nice and that is a 78 mile round trip commute when I don't go the long way

April of '06 and still under 10K.
This one is a keeper and my last car was 30 years old when I sold it.
I am planning to buy a 2nd Mustang this year.
I want a convertible so I can drive in the rain and snow.

My 06 GT arrived in November of 2005; the first two years I had the car, I put 600 miles on it the first year, 1,500 miles the second year, and since then I just can't resist driving my baby more regularly, so as of today, it has 11,000 miles on the odo. And I'm gong to drive it tomorrow to work too!
