Well I just got a call from my dealer. He advises that my build week is Oct. 31. I'm an expentant father all over again!!!

UPDATE!!!
Kzinti has provided the Blend Date of 10/26/05. According to him, that means a build date of 11/2/05.
Then I called ERL and they advised dealer date of between Nov 13 and 20.
I'm 58 and I'm acting like a kid again. I had a brand new 1966 while in college. Now that my kids are through with college, I can have some fun again!!

Got build week of 10/31 as well. I am a bit worried about the Manual Transmission thing. I hope it doesn't hold it up further. It's been a long wait and it's getting cold here in Maryland.
What I don't get is they give me a B/W of 10/31-11/7 and a ship "period" of 11/12-11/19. What's going on between the 11/8 and 11/11?
This wait is killing me.

Build week of 10/31 here too, est arrival at dealer was 11/20 and today has changed to 11/26. From what the owner of the dealer I'm buying from has told me is that a lot of the dealerships down in the hurricane areas (LA & MS) are getting back up and running and he believes this is holding up the process. Dunno if that is BS or not, so take it for what it's worth.
I keep scanning other inventories around town because if I can find anything close to what I ordered then I'll just settle for what I can get.
heck I even offered to go p/u the car after it is built and drive it home myself, but I guess thats not a option. I'm carless as I totaled my car on 8/31 by a hit and run driver and have been in rentals for 2 months now. Talk about something killing you, try driving a Focus around for 8 weeks when all you can think about is a Mustang. Not a lot of fun.

I actually drive a focus now. I bought it two years ago in anticipation for the new Mustang.
Look. It's so lame, I refused to capitalize it! I'm sellin' as soon as I can. My 16 year old son doesn't even want it.
Seriously, it's been good to me. Not a bad car.

Looks like you and I are cousins. I've got a VB GT with the same build week, also coming to MD. Only diff is mine is a vert.
I think my built date is 11/3, so I hope to have the car by 11/10. Of course, I'm off to NJ for the weekend, so it'll probably arrive then...

Did Kzinti give you build date? I haven't been able to get one out of him yet. I've been buggin him everyday for the past week. Thought I'd give it a day and check back tomorrow. It's hard not to ask, though. I was afraid of the manual trans thing, but I guess you have that, too.
What do you know about good clubs in Maryland?

The one I have been in is a "ZX." When I picked it up, in my mind I was thinking, cool this must be the sports model. Then I realized I can outrun it in a 100 yeard dash.

I just talked to my dealer again, and he has been trying to check on my order. The goal was to get a realistic date of delivery to the dealership. It's being build in Shelbyville, TN I think he said (which is less than 500 miles from here) on the 10-31. There is some sort of railroad problem according to him, and he said that we make not end up seeing the car until 12-6. According to his source, they have cars built that they can't get out because of the rail shortage. So what, they can't put it on a truck? This is so mickey mouse how it's being handled as far as I'm concerned if all of this info is correct.
On top of that, he sold the Tungsten 5spd manual that they dealer traded for last week, so that is no longer a option for me. I have no idea what to do at this point, but I'm really frustrated that Ford has their head in their hiney over the delivery of the cars. To me there is no excuse for having a car ordered and built then it sitting in a parking lot for a month before it is shipped to the dealer.
I'm very disappointed in all of this crap, but I also realize that many members here have had bigger problems ordering and waiting than me.
