YIPPIE!!!! Just spoke to my dealer and my white GT w/ IUP is shipped with rail car # and ETA April 18. Exactly 2 months from order date to delivery if its on time.

 

Now the ERL is telling me "as of March 25th your unit has been shipped via rail carrier". That's cool but my dealer says he doesn't have the rail car number :scratch:. Is he just too lazy to look or does anyone know how I can find out the car number?

I'm in the same boat, although mine is coming straight in on a convoy carrier. Dealer seems to know nothing about where it is at this moment in time, nor when exactly it is arriving. All I know is that it shipped out last Wednesday, and I only live 276 miles from the plant. I would have guessed it would have been here by now.
I have people asking me by the hour when I'm getting my car. God only knows how much more insanity I can take after waiting for 4 months ! But it is definately getting closer for the both of us ! And that feels better than waiting on getting a build date !

 

Checked with the dealer today, the rail left Kansas 11:28 (about that time) Kansas time. The arrival date has been pushed back one day to 4/1. Dealer said I will get my car next week.

I saw the computer screen they use to track vehicle orders. I swear, at my dealer alone, they must have had a least 50 vehicles that show C/U. And this dealer is huge. I have no ideal why my car got built and the others did not. But I know one thing, I will be there when my car is delivered to pee on the tires to mark my territory. :nono: (Did I spell that right?)no

last week too. My dealer only showed the car was bucked as of 23 March. Then, that same evening the ERL says it was shipped on March 22. Plus, it has gained 3 days since the original ETA. We know it won't be long now!!

Spoke to my dealer this morning, the rail is now in Nebraska, it arrived there in the 7 o'clock hour this morning their time. Arrival in Mira Loma still on for the 1st.

Just found out my car was finished this morning. There's a build date on OASIS now. Maybe it will get here by Apr 7. I'm feeling better now!

So are the last few days supposed to be the toughest? Ever since last Friday when I found out mine was going to be here the first week of April, the days seem like weeks! :spin: :ranting:

Congrats Val! I'm a bit concerned because ERL has said the same thing for 3 weeks... "As of 3/10 your unit is scheduled to be built the week of 4/4." Sure this is great news but I would at least expect "As of 3/25... or "locked in,"... something!!

As of today, dealer SAYS he doesn't see a build date yet... he did know when order was pulled back around 3/10. Anyone else seeing/hearing this after ERL gives a build week?????????? _

 

My dealer just gave me the railcar number to trace, cool!
It just left Lordsburg, NM and should be in Mira Loma early on April 2nd.
So, will the trucker pick it up early enough on Saturday to get it to the dealer by Sunday? :scratch: . Guess I may have to wait until Monday to pick 'er up!
