I guess lots of you are in the same club.
Yeah, got same problems with the voice system.
Don't want Brad or anyone to get heat for this, but what's
a guy going to do if dealer has no info.!
It's an adventure everyday checking this site!
My thanks to all for a most learning experience!
Happy Trails!!

My guess is that most dealers would rather we call the # ourselves than call them every week for an update. I realize that FORD may have a problem with this if it is against policy, but I don't see how they are harmed by it. I can't imagine enough 'stang waitees would be calling at one time to overload the system.
I'm sure nobody on this site would attempt this, however :nono: . Just those guys on the other sites!
Has anyone EVER been successful getting the system to recognize a VIN? Thank goodness I have my order #. In the past, it had no trouble with 1FAFP..., but just try speaking 1ZVHT... to it and see where it gets you.

Oh God, stop it, it hurts...
It's great hearing others having the same problems.
I figuered out the trick. You have to pronounce "8" as "ate," not "eigh-t."
Hope that helps you guys, a few hundred times and I've got it mastered now.

Charter member here; "Clean and Unscheduled " every day since at least the first of the year. One tip I might offer, ...I find it helps if I use the speaker phone feature instead of the hand set.
By the way, it's not just me memorizing the voice on the other end. Many in my office now harmonize to my phone responses.

I have my lovely boston accent so "She" never understands: "Ford" "Order Number" and "T82". It's quite frustrating. THEN, the machine brings me to the help menu, and all that does is repeat what "She" said. But, of course, I keep calling and keep getting more frustrated everytime I have to enunciate "OrDER numBER". To me, It's naturally, "Orda Numba".
I've never had a problem. I guess the cyberchick understands California accents. We say "ate". And "prolly". And "rilly". And "hunerd"...
That's Michigander talk if I evr hrd it.
