I don't own a Mustang, yet. I want an 05 GT, but I live in CO with all of the unpredictable weather. Who drives their Mustang no matter the weather conditions??

Right here, I have had mine since November and have taken it out in all types of weather except for three times when the roads hadn't been plowed (then I resorted to the sis' Jetta)

The thing that gets me is the traction control, but I learned to treat it like ABS and not fight...but it sounds like the whole tranny is coming apart when it is engaged (I have a manual, I'm sure autos aren't affected the same way)

I will when I get it in June (hopefully) although I'll be saving up for winter tires
for well, um, the winter.

I'll be driving mine year round, at least for the first year or two. Have driven it in the snow, and handles a lot better than my V6 Altima did (that one had way too much torque to the front wheels, and no traction control... there was no traction to be found).

Just drive a little more carefully in the snow, and you should be ok. And don't forget to pick up some rubber mats as well (now THERE'S a mod! haha).

oh one more thing... beware of those salt trucks!

I'll be driving my GT when it gets here around mid February. It is to replace my super cool 3 or 4 cylinder 87 Tempo beater that cost me $1000 3 years ago.

My daily driver is my Enzo, this is just the Sunday car, there is no way I would abuse a stang like that.

Mine will be driven in all weather that Tennesse has to throw at it. Unless it gets just extremely bad it will be driven. See I live out in the middle of no where at the bottom of 2 hills & have to drive up a pretty steep hill anyway to get to my road from the main road. So if it gets that bad I am staying home.

Here this past Christmas when the weather was really wacky I stayed home for like a week anyway, only getting out Christmas Eve & the day after to go to work. And then my mom drove me. Other than that ALL weather is fair game.
Cheers

Not a chance, drive an 89 Ford probe all winter long. Why risk sliding off the road or some idiot hitting me!

That would be me. I drive the wheels off it. No matter the weather. She is my daily driver and first sports car ever. BUT I am not the best example, I live in Alabama where it doesn't snow.

Of course if it was icy or somethin I would trot out the olds. Eleanor is naked- she has no ABS or traction control, and I have gotten used to FWD cars with all that. Hata wreck her.

Mine will only be driven when it is warm and dry - so in Indiana that means not nearly as often as I would like...
