For the registration I wait till the show is over. I have to do some mods for the rear lights ( :notnice: euro law- amber turn signal)

Will it have to be a seperate light?
I think it would look better with the amber, like the 99-01 Cobra's.
I have them in my '03 GT.

I love this thread. Keep posting pics. :worship: How does the ride feel compared to the stock wheels? More harsh, or noticeable handling increase? Are you planning to lower it at all with new springs/suspension?
Peter,
I live in Holland and I'm ordering the GT in a couple of weeks. I was wondering if the 95 octane gas is ok to use. Also, would you use the V-power fuel from Shell? (I'm pretty sure they have that in Germany)
Thanks

Stangnut, I will switch one of the three rearlights to a turn signal only, put a yellow LED bulb inside (superbrightleds.com) and than you have the amber signal. Rome5982, the 19" Michelin's have a very soft Sidewall, so the ride is very nice, I think better than stock!! The suspension.... yes but I wait for a Ford Racing Parts Kit cause I don't want it too low and the cars I saw with H&R or Eibach springs I don't like. I think a Muscle Car Icon don't need to be low as a BMW 3 or something like this. MHK, yes the ultimate gas (100okt) works nice
. Frank, I will check the offset and post it here. Yes, the wheels are available also in full chrome. GhostTX, the tail lights are not painted, it's a stripe job..... but you are the first one who saw it
This car truly is beautiful. It's the first example that really made me want to change the wheels...UNTIL of course...I read the $600+ price per wheel. The feeling is now COMPLETELY GONE!

This is the US site.
Oh, and Peter, you have one sweet ride there. Almost makes me wish I waited. :worship:
Peter1966, fantastic choice of colors... I was never thinking of white but you totally changed my mind.
Can I ask you, did you calculated the real average consumption (litres/km) yet ? I know its not everyday car especially here in europe, but this aspect still bothers me.

Tomorrow I will post some ESSEN pics. My Mustang is in Hall 6 at the Geiger US Cars Stand between a Hummer H2 and a XLR. There are another 2 Mustangs (mineral and torch) at Hall 10 with 20" and 21" wheels. My wheels are front 9,5 x 19 offset 45 and rear 10 x 19 offset 38. At this time I cannot tell you much about gas consume (260 km's driven). The official Ford people at Essen tell everybody whos interestet in a Mustang.... the Management at Ford thought, that this car will not have any marketchance for europe so please write them a letter or an email......yes you are here at Ford......yes our company build this car.....no we cannot show you one! A Ford representant told me that he gave this answer hundred times the first offical day!!! and than.... ah you wanna see one.... please Hall 6 and 10! FORD......... wake up!!!
