Where's my touch up paint?
I've seen posts from lots of people about receiving a touch up paint kit and some other goodies from Ford / their dealer. Where the h-e-doublehockeysticks is my package? Where did it come from and who do I have to complain to?
Thanks!
Sean

Hmm, I haven't gotten anything yet either. I do remember getting a bottle of paint for my Ranger in the mail along with a few other little "thank you" items, took a while to get it though. It didn't show up until I already bought a bottle. Now I have a feeling the same thing is going to happen because I need some to fix a few little marks on my bumper.

BTW, when I bought my 2 Focii, Ford sent out a neat travel mug (both cars) and a Casio watch (first one) as a thank you

I received a survey from Ford, but no touch up paint or "thank you" package.
Does it matter that I bought it off the lot instead of ordering it?
Probably so.

Gertie II too!!!
I did not get a package, but I did refer someone to my saleman. So now I get a $100 check when his car gets here and he pays for it.
I would rather have the $100 than paint. But I did go and buy some paint already.

I got a nice hole in the hood from my road trip. And one on my door from parking too close to the garage wall.
Stupid semi spewing pebbles....I ducked behind a minivan cause I could'nt pass but it still got me.
Have not touched up yet cause I don't know how not to make it look touched up.AND I am thinking of painting the hood flat black anyhow.

These "thank you" packages are done on a subsciption basis. The dealer must enroll with Ford for you to get the package. I would assume that if you haven't received it by now you probably will not. :notnice: You might try calling Ford Customer Relations at 1-800-392-3673, they might be able to help.

-I guess we should just be happy that Ford built our cars

Why would anyone complain about getting a free tube of touch-up paint in the mail?

Unless it comes in yello......May be a little odd.
My grocery store sells 05s......
Seriously-- like this one we got on display? Call this # and it can be yours.
After having the dealer tell me that they don't participate in that program any more, I sent an email to Ford Customer Relationship Center. I told them that the dealer told me they used to participate in the program, but have stopped for years, provided a link to April's picture ( http://forums.bradbarnett.net/index.php?ac...e=post&id=20063 ), and asked if there was another way to get the package.
I got a reply that I need to contact the selling dealership. :bang:
So, sent another email that it seemed like I was talking to a machine, and that I already had contacted the dealership. The next reply I got was that the Customer Relationship Center could not help because they "do not have access to resources that can provide components or part-related information."
They suggested I use the dealer locator with my zip code, and find another dealer to ask. Like some other dealer is going to go out of their way for this?
Any ideas?
