I've always thought the Speed of Sound switches looked nice: http://www.speedofsoundllc.com/Products.html

Or if you just want something simple, you could always just put a single switch, of your choosing, by the headlight ****.

...... Or maybe I should go to the wireless, and glue the controller somewhere on the dashboard. ( no need to drill or anything ) ....... Yes, I know it could also hang in the keychain :-) :-)

Anyone else know of examples of a good switch installs?

Did they ever find out if it was only a full open and full close switch? I would like to variably open the QTP cutout. Is that even an option?

What is the standard switch like? Can it be easily replaced with a Ford standard switch? Are there alternative brand switches that look better? Are there rocker switches that will fit into the fillers under the radio?

Next to the hand brake is also a great option.

But even better I would like to find a place that I do not have to take the car apart to install. Concerned about rattles...

They're pretty narrow. not sure what switches out there would fit:

You could also try next to the map/dome lights:

How about the lower part of the headlight control switch? They have buttons there in the GT500...

I like using the lower part of the GT500 headlight switch. That would require the least dis-assembly of the car and would look factory when done. But, GTs do not have the extra buttons, like the GT500. Will that bezel even fit?

Not sure if the switches (Info, Setup & Reset) will even work with the cutouts? Just need an open and close button. I assume that is what each end of the toggle triggers. What years of GT500's have the lower switch assembly? 2010-2013? I assume once the LCD display was added these were no longer needed?

Lots of questions. I will do some research and see what I find out.

I decided not to get the cutouts but I did consider it. I hate the idea of drilling anything that isn't easily replaceable and came up with this idea. If the switches didn't work, I'd consider trying other switches in this panel, or drilling switches into the stock panel at this location. Because I'm me, I'd probably source another stock panel first.

I'm not sure which model your photo came from. In the 13-14, I looked at the quick reference guides and the buttons are labeled LC, a shock absorber icon, and a steering wheel icon. Launch control and steering mode are available on all GT500s I think, so I would expect this cluster would be in all 13-14 GT500s. Also I looked at my dash and it looks like the headlight switch panel would be the same size, i.e. the panel is way bigger than it needs to be for just the headlight switch.

Not sure what year those photos are from, just something I found on the web for an example. The GT one is similar to what is in my 14. Looks like there is room for a switch or two below the light switch, but I am with you. Do not want to do anything that can't be undone.

Was either going to get a GT500 setup or drill the GT bezel. Looking into costs and what is available. Found you can't just buy the bezel separately. Kinda spendy since you have to get the entire package with a new bezel, but I like the idea. I will continue to see if there is another angle to this one.
