I have pretty much given up after mondays incident(they were moving the 04s, turns out they were moving them to the grass next to the highway) and nearly broke my neck and the rear bumper in front of me..
General reply here: MID October. Which- is next week.

I think I am going to wait until the '06' GT's are available for pre-order. I have an offer currently of $1000 under MSRP for the '05 GT. Gives me a little time to save more money and see real conusmers thoughts of the '05's along with 1/4 mile times in the auto vs manual. I want to be able to see the cloth and leather options. There suppose to be 18" wheels avail on the 06 models. Hopefully we will see some sort of hood and maybe sesquential taillights also.
I need to resist my first impulses and temptations of the '05.

Going to test drive the 05, if it ever arrives. Will probably hold off to see the 06's. Would like to see the 18's, the titanium grey, plus the intake cover, that is suppose to be available with the stripe package for 06.
That will give plenty of time to see what bugs have to be worked out of the 05!
Will be interesting to see thoughts on the 05 by then, not to mention the SE, Cobra, etc.

I have checked a lot of Pittsburgh Dealers. One lady said Mid January. About half said the end of Oct and the other half said any day now.

Maybe they have already sold more than they are alloted, so when a walkin ask "when will you have the 2005 Mustangs?" they are estimating when they will actually have 2005 Mustangs on the lot which that walkin can actually consider buying.

I understand your logic, but I did not mention that this lady said Jan because "production is on hold. "
Another dealer did say all his first allottment was to pre-orders though.
