Does anyone have a good idea as to when we will start seeing 06 concept info? Spring / summer of 05 perhaps?

Since the 05 is such a departure from the previous generation, I would guess that this new body style will be around for a few years with only some minor nose and tail mods...

-Thanks

I'm not quite sure what you mean, but I don't think any changes are planned for the 06 MY. I think we will be seeing a 'vert concept at the most.

They won't change anything for '06 body wise, maybe just different wheel choices.

They have already shown the vert concept, the production vert will probably be shown at the NAIAS in January.

hummm. I was hoping for more than wheel choices and body color differences(changes).

I wouldn't expect anything major until the '10 MY, the only thing significant that I can remember them changing on the '99-'04 was the headlights when they changed them to a more smoked look. '94-'98 saw a change in taillights and an engine swap in the '96-'98.

I wasn't referring to the changing of the body style. You can add items such as sequential tail lights, maybe an option for the V6 and GT for body stripe kits, spoiler delete credit etc...
I would suspect there will be a decent base price increase from the 515 order code to the 06MY...

Hopefully they show the next Cobra in some form... either a production or concept version would be nice.

Only if it's functional, I am glad they got rid of that non-functional junk on this model.

i think the misunderstanding on your post is the word "concept" which refers to a preprduction idea that might be made into a car, when what you want to know is what color and option changes might they make... go to bradbarnett.net and you can see the 06 color choices and yes there will be a 18" option too, aside from that you will likely see no changes

Updates may be more accurate than "Concept". Even updates aren't going to be for 3-5 years except for add ons.

Look for Special Edition models to be announced in 2005 as 2006 models, they might have what your looking for in respect to difference, both inside and out.

Well, I plan on getting an 05 next year. But I would like to see what an 06 looks like before I make a final decision. I plan on keeping it for a long time, so if they are going to keep the body style for a while (several years), then the 05 would be fine for me - no need to see an 06.

Where I am going with this is that, for example, I would be unhappy if I had saved up for an 04, spent my money, then saw what the 05 was going to look like. Sure I could get an 05, but I am sure I would take a loss in the deal.

I know the "concept" comes before the production vehicles, but they are usually somewhat close. Again, if the general body stays the same for a few years, with wheel / color / graphic option variations, then I would go ahead with the 05.

I am sure the engine will evolve and gain HP in the future even if the body stays the same...

I am sure there will be no major changes in the '06.. other than a minor special edition (with no/minimal power increas IMO) and 18" wheels and some different colors.

Get the '05 if you can't wait/are not interested in those things
