I find it funny that a lot of people prefer the standard bullits. I am one of them, of course.

Pardon my ignorance, but could someone please post a pic of bullet rims and the upgraded ones? I am going to order soon and I didn't know there were options.

standard 2005 GT wheel
optional 2005 GT wheel

The optional wheel to me looks like it would be more at home on anything OTHER than a sporty car like a Mustang. It just reminds me of something I've seen either on a Minivan, SUV, or Truck
... sorry, I just had to be honest !!

In all honesty, I didn't like the bright machined optional wheel until I saw it in person.
The wheel actually has quite a bit of dimension to it, it looks really good IMO.
I love the look of the bullitt as well, but considering I am going to order sonic blue, the bright wheel will set off the color better.

The 05 bullitts look ok but they kinda look different and slightly lack style compared to the 01-04 versions. The machined optional wheels look more like they belong on a explorer. I'd say get a nice set of aftermarket wheels.

IMO I really dislike the machined rims, there is no way I'd pay for them. I perfer the Bullitt rims and they are definitely what I'll have on mine until I pick up a set of these Cragars! The chrome is SO much nicer than the painted.
<~~love these lil' guys!

Download the order guide, they are in there. You should have it anyway so you can figure out all the options you want.

I have what may be a stupid question i just picked up the brochure and on page 24 on the bottom in the accessories it shows "a speeding bullit" 17' polished style GT wheel and you can get it in silver, black etc. has anybody seen these in person and can you get them from the factory that way? sorry if this is a bad question

it looks alot like "Mas35NYR" post above but also has the spinner cap I told my wife that if they come in black that might look pretty sweet. I asked a dealer yesterday in tampa and he seemed to think i could get it ordered that way, but you know how that goes

I find the bullet down right ugly on the new body style, and find them attractive on the older style. They redesigned the whole car and kept the standard rim, seems kind of strange IMO.
