Wheel Questions...
[QUOTE=davisinla;820527]Just curious - how did you manage it logistically? Did you have to remove the wheels and dismount the tires? If so, did you leave your car on jack stands?
I literally drove the car home from the dealer, parked it in the garage, immediately put it on jack stands and took the wheels off. The chrome shop removed and remounted the tires from the rims. It took about 10 days to get everything back.

Just for future information.
The chrome 18 bullits from Ford, and that come on the Sheby and California Special.... are 18 x 8.5 with a 50 mm offset.
Also, as i found out, many people dont know this, but you can find out the size of the rim on the inside, its stamped in a small rectangle on one of the spokes.
The older OEM rims it was almost a "dot matrix" stamping on the inside of the rim.

I was having trouble choosing between the fanblades and polished bullits myself. For the people who got the 18" bullits, is it true that the polish wears off easily after a while? Or do the rims still have the shine like it had when you first drove your car off the lot?
