Think they bolt right up, but sit further inside the fender because they have less offset

it doesn't look terrible. The fronts rub at full turn also. I ran them on my 2k for a while. No one ever noticed.

Is 7/16" spacers enough for all the way around the car?

The offset of your car is 24MM. The offset of a S197 is 45MM. A difference of 21MM outwards from your car's.

21mm=2.1cm, which is not quite 1 inch difference, it's .827" difference to be almost exact. a 7/8" spacer is .875" off the hub, so you're actually going a little too far by .05" I don't think anyone will notice.

One thing you'll NEED to do, though, is replace the studs with 7/8" longer studs, or get the spacer that also has it's own studs, and you mount on your hub with lugs. Trying to use the shorter studs on your hubs will not be safe. It might *work*, but there's less 'meat' for the lugs to grab, and 7/8" missing from that is quite a bit.

which wheels are you planning on? some of the newer style wheels are available specifically for the 99-04's offset. You can find em at americanmuscle. I think there was a thread about this in the SN95 section. it might even be a sticky
