What is Your Current Mileage on Your 05-09?
Just out of curiosity, I figured I'd start up a new thread to find out how many 2005-09 S197 owners are still around who continue to enjoy their rides that have low mileage on them. So if you're the proud owner of a 2005-09 S197 Mustang that has low mileage? then by all means, chime in with your posts and feedback, as they'll be much welcomed and appreciated. Thanks

What? That's low miles compared to some!
/What's low miles? I guess that's what I'm sayin'...
My bad, as I should've specified what I consider as low miles. At any rate, my 2006 GT has 28,423 original miles on her. She's never been a daily driver and only gets driven during car cruise season/car show events in the spring, summer and into early fall. Otherwise she stays put inside the garage. She also never gets driven in bad weather/rainy conditions. Anyhow, I would consider low mileage as anything under 50k miles although, just as you recently posted, I would agree that 181,000 miles could also be considered as low mileage when compared to some S197 models that have well over 200k miles and are still going strong. I suppose even to this day, I still find it as hard to believe that a 4.6L 3 valve motor can actually have a lifespan well beyond 100k miles, which was just unheard of back in the day lol.

I currently have 121718 km on mine.
As posted above. I would normally consider a low mile vehicle as having 50k miles and under. However knowing the 4.6L 3 valve motors in the 2005-10 S197 cars can have a lifespan of well over 100k miles isn't really considered as high mileage like it was back in the day lol. Anyhow, my car has 28,423 original miles. At any rate, I should've been more specific in the previous post by specifying what I considered as low mileage and therefore I now stand corrected

Now that you mention it, I believe that I know who it is. It's the person who goes by ford4v429 that has both a 2006 and 2009 GT. IIRC he's hardly ever driven his 09 GT from the time he purchased it and pretty much keeps it stored inside his garage. He does however use his 2006 GT for road trips and such. Anyhow I would tend to agree that he would most definitely have us all beat without a doubt
I have 36,000 or so on my 2008. I am the third owner it only had 16,000 five years ago when I bought it. At the MCA grand national show in Fredericksburg VA on Labor day weekend. Just around town The first spring after buying her.

You have a very awesome vista blue 2008 GT/CS. Are those OEM 2010 GT500 wheels by any chance? I have the OEM 2007-09 GT500 wheels on my car, but the 2010 wheels look much better IMO

Same here with my 2006 GT. Car cruise/car show season only
They are aftermarket. From OE Wheels. I think that American Muscle sells them also. https://3dcarstickers.com/product/mu...k-background-/
I modified the center caps and put these on them. Everyone thinks that they are Ford wheels.

They definitely look very identical to OEM Ford wheels for sure. If I didn't already have my OEM GT500 wheels, I'd purchase a set from AM. Anyway thanks for sharing and here's a pic of my "06" with the OEM 2007-09 GT500 wheels.

the plainjane 2009 gt is still undriven... 5.3 miles
never 'enjoyed' but never missed, as identical to the 06 I drive all summer... its become a oddity now, dont 'want' to drive it, maybe it can end up in a museum somewhere... likely the only 'new' non-shelby 05-09 left... on its third battery,, but aside from that, annual oil changes, and a trunkful of parts its same as the day it got flatbedded home... gets started up every couple weeks, steering/ac cycled, had osphoed the rotors new- did have to pop bubbles under the hood and seal it up at 4 years old- that really pissed me off as the cars only been washed twice...the hoods were doomed the day they were made

With just 5.3 miles on your plainjane 2009 GT, I think it's pretty much safe to assume you have everyone on this site beat who owns a 2005-09 S197 Mustang

Too many vacation trips to be considered low mileage anymore. Recent trips to Alberta one year, Nova Scotia another, Utah & AZ, then this past year was Yellowstone. 58,000 miles now but TRULY highway miles!!

For a 13-year-old GT/CS I'd consider 58k miles as being right in the middle and low when compared to some that have well over 100k + miles. Despite all the vacation road trips, 58k miles in a 13-year-old period isn't really all that much IMHO and as you also mentioned, they're all highway miles. In the meantime, thanks for sharing those awesome pics of your "07" GT/CS vert
