I belong to the group that thinks 'Do it your way'
It's your ride & do to it what makes you happy.
I didn't want mine to look like all the rest, so I added some things. I decided to go with a 69 Boss theme/style as my last Mustang was 70 Boss 302. I just prefered the 69 C-stripes on the GT over the 70's style.
I've NO 'Boss' name anywhere or on anything because it is a GT, not a Boss. I'm quite happy with how it's turned out.
If you want to put a full dress Shelby kit on your V6 or GT, go for it. I think they all look good.I'll bet there will be a few GT-350 clones out there next year.

It's not my car, I don't give a **** what you do to it. I wouldn't do most of the things you guys do to your rides, but it's my personal opinion. Everyone has their own taste. Make it the way you want.

As far as the poll goes, I don't mind what mods people put on their cars, as long as they don't label it as something that its not. Its just my opinion, but I've never understood why people build Saleen clones, Roush clones, change their GTs to look like GT500s, etc. especially when they have all the emblems as such. No disrespect meant, do what you want I just don't get it.

Ever since I've been in the car hobby(30 years) the Mustangs were refered to as belly button cars, everybody has one.Even the oldies had been modified.hot rodded.drag raced and even shot up with sparkly glitter paint.Every once in a while you would see a very nice original or some cloned up GT in sweet condition.
Lets face it the new Mustangs are popular and a lot of people have them. Some like them stock some like them rodded out and some like them as cutom as you can get it, like the Cervini's.Tolerance would be helpful when a person post a his/her idea of a modification. For the most part its only what a person sees in his or her car,the final result is something you can justify and be happy with.As I always say,"Let the good time roll!"

Found this side stripe today on this site today http://www.sunflower.com/~vervaecke/Body.htm

I think it's tastefully done. Keeps the look of the original but makes it clear that it's not the real deal. I think putting "TRIBUTE" in place of "CLONE" would also look good. JMO.

IMO, whatever the person can afford to put on when modifying a Mustang is acceptable whether or not you agree with it. It's their car, their money, and done to their taste be it good, bad, or rice (extra bad).

As for the "T" idea - instead of "tribute" it should be used to indicate the presence of a turbo, LOL.
