What would you fellow Mustang lovers do?
What would you fellow Mustang lovers do?
Ok the question is this my freinds,
I love my car. But I baby it alittle too much and it doesn't get driven very often, that and the fact that I have really nowhere to go.
Anyway, I'm meeting a freind at a mall later. Now this is an off day. There probably won't be a crap load of people and it is mid day. The weather is decent. Should I take it?

Just park on the end of a row next to a curb away from everybody else. Walk the few extra feet. Its good exercise and you'll feel a little better about your car while in the mall. But I do agree with Louie, DRIVE IT!
Do not take the counsel of your fears. Drive the car.
It will eventually get dinged, or hit, or something.
It will eventually be a pile of rustflakes, or food cans, or something.
It is a thing. Don't love a thing so much with your heart you can't kick it off with your heel.
Drive the car.
Enjoy.

I'm going to disagree with my fellow 'Stangers here.
I recommend NOT driving the car. Keep it locked in your garage, make sure there are no windows in the garage to allow in damaging sunlight.
Also, keep an air filtration system running in order to filter out any ambient dust particles. Maintain velvet ropes around the perimeter of the car. Only enter the garage once a month, admire the car, and then lock it back up.
Under NO circumstances are you to drive it or allow anyone to see it. It's YOUR car and for YOUR viewing pleasure only.

I'm fairly **** when it come to parking but I NEVER talk myself out of driving it.
You sound like Cameron's dad from Ferris Beuller: "He never drives it, he just rubs it with a diaper"
And dude, it's not like it's a '68 Shelby GT500 vert worth $250K, it's an '05 V6.
