What would you do.. I bought a new

Hood for the stang and took it to the body shop to have it fitted and painted. Well the hood has a bow on the drivers side. It sits up about a 1/4" above the fender at mid fender. It fits flush at the headlight and at the windshield. No adjusting would help other than to shim the fender but then the stock hood will not fit plus it could permently bow my fender. Sent the hood back because it has a warranty. The manufacture said it was fine. That nothing was wrong with it and will not refund shipping or send me new a hood with warranty. My car is show perfect and never been wrecked.

Did you put it on a credit card , if so you can dispute the charge and tell the manufacture to come pick up their hood ...

I paid Debit. He will give me back the money for the hood. But I have to eat the $125 shipping plus another hood will cost me more shipping and no warranty this time.. BS I say

TRUFIBER Hood

The hood is made by trufiber. I bought it thru fast toys. Phil at TRUFIBER claims the hood is fine and that my car is the problem. So the cost it on me. THAT IS TOTAL BS. My car is perfect NEVER been wrecked. I have had several people at shows mention to me how well the car lines fit.

At the minimum we will at least know not to buy anything from TruFiber.

I'd make some phone calls to seller and manufacture. This is not good considering their reputation here at TMS.

I made plenty. I sent him plenty of pictures also. HELL..When he sent the hood he asked me to take pics. of the fitment process thru paint to post on his web site. He would promote the body shop and his hood and use my car. NOW LOOK. I'm out money and still no hood.

I saw the first set of pictures you posted on another forum and they definitely show how bad it really is. It's really bad - you can almost see inside the engine bay it's so bad.

Welp, if you can't file a cc dispute because it was a debit card, there's always the better business bureau, as well as the attorney general and consumer affairs depts. in CA (trufiber is in anaheim, but you probably already know that...)

Hard to believe Fast Toys Perf. is turning their backs on you too, considering they are a sponsor on a mustang forum

This is not looking good for TruFiber. Especially since all these problems are coming up at once. Like the GTS2 fitment issue someones having with their hood... Keep us updated.

I told them I just wanted the hood. And for it to fit. They turned their back on me. I can't afford to keep paying for stuff that is not right. TRUFIBER SHOULD STAND BEHIND ALL OF THEIR HOODS. NOT JUST SOME OF THEM..

FWIW, I'll never by crap from them.

Morons.

What was their name again? Yeah, I remember: TruFiber.

Trufiber? Ok I'll be on the lookout NOT to buy anything from them.
They should reimburse your shipping costs and send you a brand new hood for wasting your time. They should take a lesson from Saleen in the customer service dept.

I know that debit cards are the same as credit cards if they're stolen , you're only responsible for $50. It maybe the same for purchases made more than 50 miles from your home , it might not hurt to check and see if you can dispute the bill. Either way , come on Trufiber , step up to the plate and do the right thing
