What Should Current Draw be with everything off ??
What is the current draw for cars that are having dead battery problems in 7 to 10 days. (Battery cable lifted and amp meter installed between battery and cable)
With dome lights on mine draws 0.090 amps (90 milliamps)
When dome light turn off - drops to 16 milliamps.
Then in a few more minutes it drops to 10 milliamps.
Sometimes it seems to stay at 10 milliamps and at other times it drop to slightly less than 1 milliamp. (Don't know why the difference)
FYI: Car has two dome lights - each of which draw 40 milliamps each.
So if car is drawing 10 milliamps it is like having one dome light on for 15 minutes of each hour. It would make sense that the battery would be dead after 7 to 10 days.
Car is GT with no options (so no active theft)

that is odd man, have had the car for a year and left it untouched for about two weeks when i was in the hospital and the battery still worked, even sat outside with the stereo on for about 2 hours to wash the car then i turned it on with no problems

I dont know what the draw should be but I just took my car out of winter storage yesterday and she started fine. I had it in my garage since November and had only started it twice and run it for maybe 5 minutes each time. I never put it on a charger or anything and when I got in yesterday it fired right up. And I do have active anti-theft.
