April-
Is your air conditioning on? When mine is on the compressor makes a tick tick sound and you can only hear it when you are braking or at low idle because then it is quiet enough to hear.

Well I know there was someone else on here that had a front end noise, not the regular tsb popping, they had tons of stuff done, then the actual item that fixed it was replacing the steeering rack, supposedly had way to much play in it. So you never know could be related. good luck.

He immediately informs me check this out- the steering wheel is very loose. Its going every which way but where he wants it to be. Hmm, but he can't hear the tick.

I was thinking it might be abs related also (clicking sound)

Yes I hope so too that it all gets squared away and that you did not get a lemon ? really there have been some things showing up in Canada but not as bad as USA as USA recieved the Mustangs first and then they jumped on the TSB's and kinda got it right before they shipped across the boarder ? If you can take a magic type marker and mark things that will only show up in a black light , then you will KNOW if they even looked at it. I do gets em always. Ed

I don't have ABS...
Steering was fine today, but it seems to be out of alignment...

There have been quite a few people reporting a ticking noise coming from the engine and it has been diagnosed as the variable cam timing solenoid.
Could that possibly be it?
